As part of the AAAS Mass Media Science and Engineering Fellowship program, I covered science for the NPR-member station for Northern Colorado. I interviewed researchers from a variety of scientific disciplines to report science stories to local audiences in both radio and online formats.

I led the organization as co-editor-in-chief and participated in the commission and peer-review process of scientific articles as the original contributions editor. I also wrote articles for broad biomedical audiences in special issues.
